Another great model shoot last Sunday, this time with Bonnie. We were dodging the snow for our urban shots, so spent a bit of time inside for some studio shots. Check out the full gallery here.

Model Shoot / Ellie

I spent last Saturday on a shoot with model Ellie in Stratford-Upon-Avon in Warwickshire. It was a cold and wet day, but Ellie was fantastic and together we created some great images.

Focus On Imaging, NEC

I attended the annual Focus On Imaging photographic show at the NEC this week and had a great time spending money on new kit and speaking to very knowledgeable people, including the great Keith Trainor and the superb Damien Lovegrove from Lovegrove Consulting. Looking forward to next years event already.

SWPP Convention

I was lucky enough to attend the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) Trade Show and Convention this month at the Novotel, Hammersmith London this month and had a great time. I saw lots of great new products for the social photographer, escpecially the new Nikon D300.

Also met loads of like minded photographers and swapped some hints and tips. Now looking forward to using some of the new products and ideas in 2008.

Pet Portraits

Never work with animals or children the saying goes. Well, I've got lots of experience trying to photograph children, but not so much of the four legged variety, so an opportunity to photograph a much loved pet recently was gratefully received. It was an experience, but I managed to get some pleasing results.

Scouts Assocation Centennial Dinner

Event-Pics were invited to the Scouts Association Centennial Dinner at the Hilton Warwick last week. We took a mix of formal and informal photos for the organisers and met a lot of very friendly people.
